More Than Just A Party

Valentines Day may have been and gone but that is no reason to stop celebrating with love. On Thursday 20 February you’d do well to find yourself at Bondi Bowling Club for the Bowled Over: Love Fest 2020
.

Unlike last Friday, this Thursday we will be celebrating the industry: our love for our profession, our love and pride of the projects we create, and of course, our love for each other. Hosted by Polytec, Milliken-Ontera, CSM, James Richardson Furniture, Talostone and Diverse Products Agency while the weather is still warm, Bowled Over 2020 is a chance to catch up with colleagues and acquaintances in the industry now that the dust of beginning a new year, a new decade rather, has settled.

With more than 200 RSVPs for this Thursday’s event already, and a capacity of 400, if you and your team are interested in going it would be well worth the RSVP to confirm your places.

With live music from the jazz trio Steve Morrison Jazz and a wet weather contingency (bowls would be canceled but the party continues indoors), coupled with a rare chance to team build amidst friendly competition in fresh, coastal air – here’s an industry event we’d love to see you at.

This Month At Caroma, Sydney: The Caroma Bushfire Fundraiser

In case you need an excuse to visit Caroma on Collins, the iconic Australian bathroomware brand’s Sydney flagship in Alexandria, each month the team hosts a series of events and activations in the space designed by Archier to unite the design community; challenge current practices; and improve our future.

So what’s on this month?

Caroma Bushfire Fundraiser

Thursday 20 February, 6-9pm

Caroma on Collins
39 Collins Street, Alexandria

An exclusive, invitation-only fundraiser event to raise funds for the victims affected by the 2019/2020 bushfire season – has been extended to our loyal republic of Design Hunters. Caroma, in partnership with St Vincent De Paul, is inviting the business community, media, and household names and faces to come together for an evening in their Alexandria showroom hosted by Jamie Durie of Habitus House of the Year, with a special performance by Evie J Willie. Cocktails and canapes are provided generously by Caroma, while the $100 ticket prize and funds raised through a silent auction, raffles, and direct donations will go towards the imminent recovery effort.

Get a big group together and book your tickets here.

Architectural Tour of Mexico

19 April 2020

Caroma in conjuction with Mowa Studio presents an Architectural Tour of Mexico.

As an appreciator of architecture the joys are multifaceted. You will experience the pyramids, the historic centre, the churches, plazas and also the new and ingenious architecture designed by junior firms as well as the works of Pritzker prize winner Luis Barragan.

Join us in exploring and embracing the very best of Mexico city as an informed local instead of a tourist.
