The following list highlights the 12 areas in Scotland with the lowest number of coronavirus cases per 100,000 population over the course of seven days.

This data is from November 7 to November 13, 2020.

Not included in this list, Glasgow city is the worst hit area in Scotland during this time frame with 275.6 cases per 100,000 people.

The Shetland Islands is the only area in the country that hasn’t recorded a single new case of coronavirus in the last week.

The Orkney Islands recorded one new case of coronavirus between November 7 and November 13. This is an infection rate of 4.5 per 100,000 people.

The Highland region of Scotland is next on the list with 20.4 new cases of coronavirus being reported per 100,000 population. A total of 48 cases were reported between November 7 and November 13.

Na h-Eileanan Siar reported 22.5 cases of coronavirus per 100,000 population with a total of six new cases.
