The Marketing Society star awards — Graeme Atha

The Marketing Society Star Awards moved to a virtual format last week.

The You Cannae Drive Your Granny Like A Radge road safety campaign won the Advertising Gold Star

Leith won the Star Agency of the Year recognising the excellent work produced with the Scottish Government including campaigns from preventing food waste to promoting road safety with the campaign "You Cannae Drive Your Granny Like A Radge"

Star Marketing Team of the Year went to Ian Macleod Distillers who also won awards for Smokehead whisky and Edinburgh Gin campaigns.

The Inspiring Agency Leader of the Year was presented to Juliet Simpson who heads up Leith based Stripe Communications who have also built a successful operation in London.

Claire Prentice from the Scottish Government was awarded the Inspiring Marketing Leader of the Year Star award recognising the wide range of impactful social marketing campaigns she has led on over the years.

This demonstrates that great marketing is not only central to business success and a strong economy but can also help make the world a better and safer place.
