Coronavirus News Live Updates: Punjab govt shortens night curfews, allows restaurants to open

India has recorded a steep rise in coronavirus cases with 90,902 new cases being recorded in the past 24 hours. Apart from the over 90,000 new cases, the death toll has also gone up by 1,016. With the rise, India's current Covid-19 case tally stands at 42,04,613 with 71,642 deaths.
