Exclusive: Satellite images show Chinese pullback in Galwan Valley

Satellite images accessed by India Today TV show that there has been a pullback by the Chinese army in the Galwan Valley area of Ladakh. The Galwan Valley was one of the points along the Line of Actual Control where Indian and Chinese soldiers were in a standoff.

On June 15, a brawl between the two sides led to the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers and unspecified number of casualties on the Chinese side.

Since then, hectic negotiations to ‘disengage’ troops on the both sides have been underway.

Now, six satellite images from Maxar, photographs taken less than 24 hours ago on June 6, show that the Chinese side have indeed moved back. Earlier, sources had said that the Chinese PLA had removed tents and vehicles in the area while moving back in Galwan, Hotsprings and Gogra.
