Allow Demi Moore to Explain Her Carpeted Bathroom

Demi Moore has a perfectly logical explanation for her carpeted bathroom, thank you very much. The actor's bathroom went viral after she tweeted behind-the-scenes photos of herself recording her podcast "Dirty Diana" from the room on July 8. With brown shag carpeting and an old-school floral couch in tow, the internet had a lot of questions about the eccentric room. During a remote appearance on "Late Night With Seth Meyers" on July 15, Moore explained that the carpeting was originally a design choice made by her ex-husband Bruce Willis.

"This is the house that my children grew up in and that, originally, was a Bruce Willis choice," Moore said of her Hailey, Idaho home. "Not to put it off on him. We also live in the mountains where it gets very cold, so it's never bothered me. It's actually quite good." She added of its viral status, "I appreciate the interest that has gone into all of my little oddities, because this place definitely houses a lot of my treasures. And I have had some big laughs over the comments with my family who know me well, of all of my eccentricities, small and large."

Moore then proceeded to share more eccentric decor pieces from her home, such as a giant tennis ball and a giant safety pin attached to the stone fireplace behind her. As for the famed couch in the bathroom, Moore explained that it was a miniature couch—and no, the piece of furniture is not always in the bathroom. She explained to Meyers that she moved the couch into the bathroom to "find the best place for sound" to record her sex drama podcast, which premiered on July 13. "I did a test in my closet. I did it in various places," Moore said. "What came back is that the bathroom had the best sound."
