This Baker’s Making Epic London-Themed Cakes

Didn’t know we needed a diplodocus-on-the-tube cake till we saw this one, by London bakery Adams Cakes.

Not to mention some of the others in his back catalogue: Adam Cox takes bespoke commissions for all sorts of creative cakes, but recurring themes include London transport — with some fantastically detailed doubledeckers — London landmarks, and dinosaurs.

Bowie in the bus queue? Queen Liz on the run? Many of the cakes feature a surprising celebrity cameo — just like London life, really — and Cox has taken commissions from a fair few surprising slebs as well, including Damien Hirst, Nick Grimshaw and… Arnold Schwarzenegger.

History is silent on the subject, but this is how we like to think of Arnold Schwarzenegger tucking into his cake.
