The Entire Who What Wear Team Loves This Secret Zara-Owned Brand

Uterqüe is hardly a new label. Inditex, which owns Zara, created the sister brand and launched it back in 2008. It’s a firm UK fashion-editor favourite (even though it remains a relatively «insider» brand). Like Zara, Uterqüe creates trend-led pieces that look like they belong in a street style gallery.

The label was initially focused on accessories, and while this is one of our favourite destinations for beautiful shoes and Instagram-worthy earrings, it’s so much more than that. The leather products are always beautifully designed and cut—they’re the sort of pieces you’ll keep forever. Jackets are also another big win from this brand, with blazers and cropped versions in chic colours that are ideal for work.

The most recent collection is particularly strong. We recommend the feather-detailed jumper, the oversized earrings and the beaded fringed bag, but also make sure you keep an eye out for the pearl-embellished jumpsuit. There are also a couple of brilliant basic pieces too such as the true blue straight-leg jeans and the two-tone leather slingback shoes. Keep scrolling to shop our favourite pieces from Uterqüe.

Style Notes: It’s no surprise that one of ourcolumnists, Monikh is a fan of this brand.

Style Notes: Try a blazer and matching pair of trousers from this brand à la Pandora Sykes.

Style Notes: The ideal way to wear a cropped white jacket? Over your favourite dress or with a slip skirt.

Style Notes: Proof that Uterqüe does the chicest of tops.

Style Notes: Leena’s full Uterqüe look has us wanting to clash stripes.

Style Notes: These sandals look amazing when paired with red trousers, as shown by Hanna Stefansson.

Style Notes: Maria is a longstanding #uterquesquad girl, with this silky camisole being a recent purchase.

We could go on, but I think you get the gist of the brand’s offerings. The bottom line? Uterqüe is not to be missed.
