South Korean Pop Megastars Visit Katz’s Deli

Worldwide pop phenomenon BTS tours New York City and makes a stop at Katz’s, naturally

The South Korean pop megastars known as BTS landed in New York City recently to film an upcoming special episode of NBC’s The Tonight Show where host Jimmy Fallon tours the city’s landmarks with the world-famous boy band — and BTS made a stop at Katz’s Delicatessen as part of the tour, Rolling Stone reports. The accompanying promotional photo of Fallon, BTS, and current Katz’s owner Jake Dell taken at the deli is truly beautiful to behold.

Aside from the stop at Katz’s, the special episode of The Tonight Show features Fallon interviewing BTS while riding the subway, and the band takes over Grand Central Terminal to perform a brand new song. Showrunner Gavin Purcell tells Rolling Stone that the extravaganza has been one of the “most high-production episodes” that The Tonight Show has ever produced. It’ll air on NBC on February 24.
