Line-Up: February

The longest month is finally over and the shortest month of the year has started! For some of us February is the real start to the New Year and January is a practice. With this in mind, we have got a line-up of all things big and small happening across London this month we think you should know more about.

Hop aboard London’s finest floating comedy club! This paddle steamer is permanently moored opposite the London Eye and promises to have you crying with laughter and with a few surprises along the way. Each show has 4 comics and the occasional special guest which tend to be, more often than, top comedians trying out their new material. Lucky you! Say hello to the fashion of 2020. London Fashion Week is the first of the four global weeks to open its doors and give the public a look into its world. Its takes places in both

February and September and showcases designers from across the globe in front the worldwide media and retailers. It is predicted that there is over £100 million orders placed during each LFW season, so you better start saving now! Once again, the London Fashion Hub will be open to the public, previously only exclusive to the press, where you can explore designers’ creations based on compelling stories of sustainability, ethics and community. Lightopia Festival

Step into a world like no other! Using interactive lights and lanterns as well as clever displays, Lightopia provides an immersive festival housed in Chiswick gardens. Made up of 6 themes, the festival allows the audience to explore each theme and view breath-taking installations. Head through ‘The Love Gate, ‘Flower Hand’ and ‘Happy Valley,’ experiencing live acrobatic performances and music, with a helping of street food dotted around the exhibition. This is where dancing meets drag in the best possible way. Take your seats at 12.30pm and let the queens entertain you whilst you sip on unlimited prosecco, Bucks Fizz or draft beer. Lip syncing for their lives these queens know how to put on a performance and hold onto their wigs. Housed in Canary Wharf, this class act is not to be missed!
