Team Who What Wear UK downed tools in the office, jumped into the back seats of our sweet LFW ride (the very swish Overfinch) and left the regular grind behind in order to attend every possible show, presentation and party for London Fashion Week. Those five days were certainly jam-packed, so it’s only natural that our outfit choices played a big part.
It can be tempting to buy lots of new shouty, trend-led items for London Fashion Week that don’t exactly sit within the rest of your wardrobe. But our approach to fashion week dressing was to wear an outfit we’d wear to the office or dinner on a normal week—just on a good hair day when you’re slightly more ahead of the washing pile than usual.
We wore all of our old favourites, tried out new rental services to borrow special pieces and wore new pieces that we know we’ll love far beyond fashion week. We charted the team’s look each day in this rolling gallery, directing you straight to the products you can still get a hold of and offering alternatives for vintage or out-of-season items.

Emma looks suitably suited and booted in her Arket two-piece and square-toe pumps. Meanwhile, Marcia’s tie-dye top is just what it needs to become street style–ready.
It’s a winning Topshop pairing for Zoe on day four. Her checked maxi dress harmonises perfectly with the cream hue of the faux-leather jacket.
For day four, Joy embraced a monochrome colour palette with a Charlotte Simone coat, Who What Wear collection jeans, Hayley Menzies cardigan, Whistles boots and Samsoe & Samsoe bag.
For day three of London Fashion Week, Emma Spedding paired her new Baserange dress with a bag she found at the Rejina Pyo sample sale and her trusty Whistles boots, which are perfect for walking through the rain.
For day three, Joy opted for another vintage coat accessorised with a collar from Topshop. She also wore a pair of jeans from L’Agence and a bag from Who What Wear Collection.
Alyss wore a pair of vintage dungarees, a JW Anderson bag and a shirt from Zara.
At London Fashion Week day three, Zoe wore a pair of boots from Mango, white wide-leg jeans, a blouse from H&M and a Louis Vuitton handbag borrowed from Cocoon Club.

For day two of London Fashion Week, Emma turned to a few of her tried and tested wardrobe staples, including a Wandler bag she’s worn almost every day since purchasing it two years ago, and a belted coat from Mango that’s been in her closet for several seasons.
Today, Joy showcased her love of vintage shopping, wearing a tailored tweed jacket she found at Rokit Vintage. Joy paired the jacket alongside a Peter Pan–esque collared shirt and flares by L’Agence.
For London Fashion Week day two, Alyss chose to brave the storm in a vintage Laura Ashley dress with weather-appropriate Dr Marten boots and a cosy shearling-lined Topshop biker jacket.
For day one, Nell opted for an all-blue outfit with a Zara dress she’s had for several years with a co-ordinating wrap wool coat. Her knee-high snakeskin boots were a Depop find.
Alyss loves vintage shopping, and this neon Fair-Isle jumper is one of her most recent finds. She paired it with her gold Missoma hoops, Topshop ’90s-style jeans and a green acid–coloured bag from the Who What Wear Collection (which is launching online next week!).
I kept it simple for day one and wore my trusty & Other Stories wool blazer with flared jeans and a bright-pink blouse with a pointed collar.
Joy, meanwhile, meant business in her pinstripe navy suit, which she paired with a secondhand JW Anderson bag from Vestiaire Collective borrowed for the weekend and a pair of ankle boots. The Who What Wear team love a chunky chain necklace, as you can see, and Joy’s is vintage.
Zoe saved her Gucci sweatshirt for the first day of London Fashion Week. She borrowed a Balenciaga bag for the weekend from the new handbag rental platform called Cocoon and wore a faux-leather shacket from Topshop.
