City Cheats: How to spend the extra day

A leap year means many things. It only happens every four years and is traditionally known as the day a woman can propose (more commonly known for giving us an extra day!). This year it falls on a Saturday, so we’ve rounded up some great ways to spend your extra time.

This exhibition is coming to a close on the 22^nd March so we wanted to make sure you have the chance to still see it! Housed in the famous V&A Museum, this exhibition showcases the very inventive Tim Walker and his work through photographs and film, as well as the addition of ten new photographs inspired by V&A collections. There are even a few special installations that are a must-see. Getting lost in a museum is definitely a great way to spend your extra day.

The highly anticipated independent beer festival is finally here! With over 8000 members of the public expected to go, it is set to be a talking point for many. One way to spend an extra day in London is to wander around the parts you have never seen before. Explore mews, lanes and crescents – and even get that perfect Instagram snap as the colours and architecture promise to be beautiful. We recommend starting at the Conduit Mews, near Paddington then venturing over to Chelsea and exploring Bywater street and all its colorful houses. Ennismore mews is located in Knightsbridge and is perfect for a spontaneous new profile pic.
