NEW ROOFTOP RESTO BISUSHIMA WILL OVERLOOK TRAFALGAR SQUARE

A new rooftop restaurant is moving into the Page8 hotel in St Martin's Place, and it's gonna be one of the largest places to dine and drink al-fresco in the area. With 190 covers, two roof terraces and overlooking Trafalgar Square it's definitely one for those who love a good view…and high-class Japanese food. The interiors of the restaurant have been designed with the concept of Shinrin-yoku (nature therapy) at the forefront, aiming to create a sanctuary in the city, so expect chilled-out, sexy vibes throughout the day.

Bisushima will be serving the only Japanese breakfast in London but dinner is where it really kicks off. As anyone who has been can tell you, a big part of Japanese culture is entertaining and drinking, and it'll be no different here. There's a large selection of wines, sakes and cocktails, alongside modern Japanese and sushi dishes like Toro tataki with quinoa and pak choi salad; Shime saba oshizushi (Seared cured mackerel pressed sushi with ginger, shiso and sesame); Unagi Shirayaki with porcini mushrooms and miso infused spinach puree and Hojicha Crème Brulee with Blackcurrant ice cream. We're still waiting on an offish opening date but can't wait to su-see when this one takes off.
