THE TRAMSHED PROJECT TO OPEN IN SHOREDITCH

Mark Hix's Tramshed restaurant in Shoreditch has gone (so has Damien Hirst's cow) and The Tramshed Project, featuring a workspace, kitchens and a gallery, is taking its place. Set up by Street Feast founder Dominic Cools-Lartigue, The Tramshed Project will feature kitchens in the Main Hall from Zoe Adjonyoh, James Cochran, Andrew Clarke and Daniel Watkins, which'll be serving up West African food, fried and jerk dishes, smoked meats and plant-based dishes respectively.

As well as the Basement Gallery, a 2000 sq ft space that'll host exhibitions, panels and workshops, the smaller upstairs Library, with its kitchen counter, will be used for collab dinners, chef takeovers and food pairing events. There's no memberships for co-working, so you'll be able to drop in and take a desk space or book a larger booth in the Main Hall for team sessions as and when you need them.

The Tramshed Project's events programme is kicking off with Black Flamingo, a weekly Friday night jazz and dinner club inspired the 60s British Black magazine Flamingo, and a festival for Black History Month, so keep your eyes peeled for more deets on those.
