Welcome to the Samuel Windsor blog as we come live from ringside for the ultimate in slipper showdowns. Mules or moccasins? As they go toe-to-toe, we ask which of our light-weight leather slippers will prevail.
In the European corner we find our Mules limbering up – a fantastic slipper option for the dapper dresser who loves a slip-on that’s man enough to deal with putting the bins out. In the American corner, light, comfy and agile – moccasins are ideal for the athlete who leaps to his feet to let the dog out.
Both our slippers feature a pedigree past. Both are constructed from the finest of leathers. But which will get the votes it needs to land the knockout blow? It’s up to you!

Caesar’s mules
With an ancestry that dates to the Roman Senate, a pair of mules was de rigueur for your well-dressed Italian.
