Have you noticed the doorstep food banks turning up around London?
The idea is that they run as a space to give what you can, or take what you need; they’re a colourful splash of community spirit.
And while it’s devastating that they’re necessary — and we wish that reliable, formal support were reaching the people who need it — it’s lovely to see all these neighbourhoods reaching out to help each other at a time when it’d be easy to feel disconnected from the outside world.
