Dust off your double denim. Tie on your best bandana. And get ready to shake this world off your shoulders.
The UK’s only Springsteen-dedicated clubnight has just announced a 24-hour nonstop Bruce marathon — livestreaming to a a living room near you.
Hungry Heart‘s the brainchild of superfan Hannah Summers, and in better days, one of London’s Very Good Nights Out.
Since lockdown they’ve thrown a few virtual house parties, but this weekend they’re taking it next level. Starting on Saturday 2 May at 1pm, Hungry Heart are throwing a Springsteen-athon: 24 glorious hours of pure Bruce.
Summers and her partner are gearing themselves up for a full day and night spent spinning the best of the Boss from their decks. Entirely live, the Springsteen-athon plan includes specific sets you can tune in for — like a family hour — keep an eye on their ticketing page here for the setlist announcement.

The event hopes to raise £10,000 for charity: proceeds are being divided between several London and UK organisations working to provide support to the vulnerable during the pandemic — including Childline, St Barts and the Trussell Trust.
There’s no minimum donation, but there are various prizes and incentives for giving £10 upwards: you can show your support at their donation page.
And for a £300 donation to charity, Hungry Heart will help you propose to your partner live on air. Somebody do this please.
In summary: 24 hours of the Boss, for a good cause. We’re already drafting the apology notes to our neighbours.
