I Always Go to This Topshop Section for High-End Style

All fashion editors have their own tried-and-tested hacks for finding the best pieces on the high street, whether it’s going to a certain location, sticking to a specific product, a sales-shopping technique or fail-safe online edit. For me, I have become a total sucker for high street’s premium ranges, be it H&M’s studio collection or Reserved’s ReDesign line. I genuinely rate the quality of these edits, which often rival that of high-end designers, as the brands are making a concerted effort to invest in good fabrics and construction to ensure they stand above the usual offerings.

Topshop Boutique, however, has to be at the top of my list. You might not have noticed the collection as a separate entity on the website, but if you’re someone who regularly visits the Oxford Circus flagship (guilty as charged), you’ll know that the Boutique section is the place to be, and it’s always the place I head to first.

While the prices are certainly higher than Topshop’s standard offering, it is definitely worth the investment. Case in point? Back in November I spent months searching for a dress for my brother’s wedding, and it was Topshop Boutique that provided me with the winning look, beating-off plenty of high-end competitors. The fit was perfect, and the fabric was divine.

As the line’s spring collection has finally landed, it felt only right that I share my little secret with you. Because trust me—there’s so much good stuff to see. Highlights include a ’60s-inspired midi dress, a pair of chic wide-leg trousers and plenty versatile separates. Plus, there’s 20% off at Topshop until 1st March, just use code LEAP20 at checkout.
