Construction Worker Killed In I-95 Crash

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A construction worker is dead after an accident on Interstate 95.

It happened just after 2 a.m. Sunday near NW 69th Street.

Florida Highway Patrol says an SUV hit a car then swerved into a construction zone hitting that worker.

He was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center but did not survive.

FHP says charges against the driver are pending.
