Animal Group: Puppy Found Shot In SW Miami-Dade

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A puppy will undergo surgery Monday after what is being called “a horrific case of animal abuse.”

A group called “The Abandoned Dogs of the Redland Rock Pit,” says it looks like this puppy was shot in the jaw.

They say the puppy, a female, is about six months old and was found near Southwest 216th Street and 209th Avenue.

The puppy is at Hollywood Animal Hospital.
