(Werbung/Ad) Whoever is a regular follower of my adventures on Instagram knows by now: I have a very special relationship to Brazil. Truth be told, my first trip to Brazil was only last May. I spent two fantastic weeks for an exciting project (expect some great news as of January 2020) and fell in love not only with the country but also with its people, sight and tastes. Ever since I do have some serious ‘saudades’ for Brazil, but now I have a little something to cure my longing for Brazil: the Segredo Amarelo coffee from Rio Verde in Brazil. This exclusive coffee is the ‘rarity coffee of the year’ from Tchibo (Tchibo Rarität des Jahres SEGREDO AMARELO BRAZIL).
I love coffee and my day always starts with a cup of coffee. Thanks to a little delivery from Tchibo I am now enjoying my mornings with a sip of Brazil. This single origin premium coffee is truly something exceptional. Why you might wonder? Let me tell you a bit about it. This coffee is called Segredo Amarelo which translates to Yellow Secret. This name stems from the yellow coffee fruit that grows in high altitude in Brazil’s southeast. The coffee fruits take time to ripen and once they are ready, they are handpicked. A real rarity in coffee production in general!
But there is more to the secret of these coffee beans than the color! The drying of the coffee beans applies various techniques to allow the sweetness of the coffee fruit to penetrate the bean and thus create a smooth, fruity-sweet and harmonious taste of the coffee in your cup. There are notes of mango and passionfruit in this wonderful coffee. Moreover, the coffee farm – or fazenda as they say in Brazil – is paying due attention to ecological and social responsibility by supporting the local community and protecting the environment.
Now let’s talk about how you can actually get a sip of Brazil in your own cup? Simple: The Segredo Amarelo coffee is available as of December 10th in all Tchibo shops and in their webshop in a beautiful coffee tin. Additionally, you’ll find beautiful coffee accessories such as my water kettle and coffee glass carafe. But do not wait too long. This rarity will only be available as long as stock lasts. When it’s gone, it’s gone! In this sense: Enjoy a cup of the delicious aromas of Brazil. Aproveite!
This blog post has been brought to you in collaboration with Tchibo. As always all opinions and photos are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands who support this blog!
