Parunaru: Monnalisa FW20 Fashion Show at Pitti Bimbo 90

The Monnalisa Circus Fashion show at Pitti Bimbo 90 was the perfect way to end the night at the Station Leopolda. Upon entering the show, the magnificent MONNALISA letters greeted us on the way in. Once we were inside the circus, we were entertained with dramatic music and circus performers standing on rolling balling, juggling and hat throwing.

Circus food and drinks were handed out as we watched a performance by Manfredi Grigolo and Malachii. Monnalisa really knows how to throw a party. As the show started, the entertainers welcomed the models out of the circus tent showcasing the new collection. Trends we saw on big and little models in matching outfits were plaids, reds, Disney and Popeye characters, glitter boots, animal prints, and extravagant tulle dresses.

Animal prints were very prevalent and tied into the circus theme very well. I really loved the layering and mixing of all the fun prints.

Being a Disney fan, I especially appreciated the Disney pieces including a nod to Minnie Mouse’s famous polka dot dress, Mickey Ear hats, mouse shaped purses, and Disney jean jackets that I want for myself.

The finale ended with majestic little royals dressed in the fanciest dresses and suits, adorned with crowns and bows on their maryjanes.
