Baselworld 2019: Patravi Scubatec Black Manta Special Edition

Carl F. Bucherer has unleashed the mighty 500-meter water resistance of the 44.6mm Patravi Scubatec, which means you can swim with the manta rays that inspired it.

It comes with a lightweight DLC-coated titanium case, with a wide, numbered uni-directional rotating bezel complete with two manta rays in silhouette on the dial.

Part of the proceeds from its sale will be donated to the Manta Trust charity. The trust leads global research projects and awareness campaigns to help preserve this endangered species.

Carl F. Bucherer’s contribution is specifically earmarked for research on the manta ray’s movement patterns. The ultra-light titanium case is coated with black DLC and includes a helium release valve.

With indexes covered in Super-LumiNova, the diver is framed by a 120 click unidirectional bezel made of tough titanium and ceramic. The automatic movement, calibre 1950.1 is COSC certified and has a power reserve of 38 hours. The watch comes on a rubber strap with a recycled PET textile layer
